We go out and try to do our job each week and let the rest take care of iself. Our 2006 defense was actually a young defense... they have improved this year.

 

Also, for those of you with a short term memory... we thrashed Cincinnati last year 37-7 who just lost to UL.

 

So until all of the local one hit wonder teams get on our level with our consistency... stop hating and start winning.

Your right, the one thing you can conrol is your non conference schedule. Throwing out Youngstown State the combined records of the remaining non conference teams is 8 - 12. Kent is last in the MAC, Washington is next to last in the Pac 10 , and the one bright spot is that Akron is tied for 2nd in the MAC with mighty Buffalo.

 

How many teams in the top 25 would be undefeated right now if they had OSU schedule?

IMO, I think Ohio State is the best team in the country. I think they are better than LSU ( both D's are sick but Ohio States offense is better IMO ) and all the teams behind them. Yeah, we all know they haven't played the best schedule but they have beaten everyone pretty easily.

 

USF has proved more than OSU. Wins against Auburn and W. VA show that. But I don't think USF is better than OSU.

I guess you forgot about how many NFL players we lost. You can't stack the schedule every year. If you want to compare some of our non-conference opponents over the next 5-7 years left me know. We have USC, Miami FL, Oklahoma, VTECH, thats just to name some.

I am not boistering that Louisville is the best in America, I thought they had a shot earlier this year, but I was way off. OSU may get that shot, but they will get exposed, just like last year, Louisville looked great against a nasty Wake defense. You ought to be happy you didn't get beat by Louisville, whish LIKELY would've happened.
