October 14, 200718 yr I guess you forgot about how many NFL players we lost. You can't stack the schedule every year. If you want to compare some of our non-conference opponents over the next 5-7 years left me know. We have USC, Miami FL, Oklahoma, VTECH, thats just to name some. We are one of the leaders if not the leader in sending players to the NFL... can UL/UK say the same? I know OH football OWNS KY football on all levels, but lets try not to hate too much. I think the thread was about whether O$U is overrated, not about comparing them to UK/UL or how many players each program sends to the NFL. Until O$U beats someone of some substance then they're more a prospect of the wild season in general so far then them being the actual best team in the country. When it comes down to is USF has 2 wins that are better than ANY win O$U has this season--and that's what we're talking about--THIS SEASON.
October 14, 200718 yr Teams I believe to be better than Ohio State: LSU Oklahoma South Florida Florida Kentucky South Carolina West Virginia Oregon California (when healthy) USC (when healthy) Ohio State could beat LSU. LSU's offesne isn't good at all. Besides those 4 running backs they are very average on offense. Flynn has 5 TD's in 7 games. Kentucky and OSU would be a good game, but OSU would win IMO. I don't see how Kentucky could score on the Buckeyes defense. And USC?? No. Cal?? No.

OSU may get that shot, but they will get exposed, just like last year, Louisville looked great against a nasty Wake defense. You ought to be happy you didn't get beat by Louisville, whish LIKELY would've happened. Like U of L got exposed against SYRACUSE, and UTAH?? And hey, maybe U of L could have beaten OSU, that is if U of L could have made it to the national championship game :thumb:

This team has a long way to go. And yes we got beat, at least when we got beat we lost to the national champs who would have beaten ANYone on that night.

Louisville shot themselves last year. But most football minds know that best case scenario, OSU would've had fits.
