October 3, 200719 yr UC students camping out for football tickets... What game is this for? Do students receive free tickets, or do they have to buy them?
October 3, 200719 yr Author What game is this for? Do students receive free tickets, or do they have to buy them? It's for the UL game. Tickets are free and in the past you just showed your ID at the gate and they let you in. At the Marshall game almost 2,000 more students than seats in the student section showed up, so now you need a ticket...
October 3, 200719 yr Seriously, this season is crazy... 1) UC Football fans camping out for tickets 2) Michigan - loses in the Big House to a Div. I-AA team, starts the season in the top 5 and is unranked after two games 3) Notre Dame is winless 4) Louisville is a 37 point favorite and loses to Syracuse in the Pizza Box 5) South Florida is #6 6) Kentucky is #8 and the rumor is that College Gameday is coming to Lexington for the LSU game (whether that turns out to be true or not is irrelevant, the fact that no one is laughing at the rumor is enough for me) I really hope this season continues on this path...I'm hoping like crazy that things don't return to "normal".
October 3, 200719 yr I heard a FoxSports guy say the other day that all of the remaining UC home games are already sold out. True?
October 3, 200719 yr Who would have thought in the pre-season that Cincinnati and South Florida could potentially be battling it out for the Big East championship? Or that UK could be a serious threat to win the SEC East? There is still a lot of football to be played, so some normalcy could return and UK and UC could end up in the middle of the pack, but at this point, you can claim they're contenders and no sensible person will laugh at you. That, in itself, is amazing to me. Consider this...suppose UK beats USC, LSU beats Florida, UK loses to LSU and beats Florida...the Wildcats would be in great position in the SEC East...we would essentially have a two game lead of USC and a three game lead over Florida in the SEC East...and we'd be in control of our own destiny with winnable games against Georgia and Tennessee later in the season. Of course, the more likely scenario is UK will be lucky to come out of this stretch at 6-2...which is why I'm saying all this now. I want to dream about it now, before our dreams get crushed by the meat of the SEC schedule.:cry:
October 3, 200719 yr Author I heard a FoxSports guy say the other day that all of the remaining UC home games are already sold out. True? UL and WVU are sold out. There are a small number of tickets (I've heard less than 1,000) for the UConn game still remaining...
