Final.

Game was close until the 4th... Hounds just too much! Great game Corbin! Good luck to LCA rest of the way!

Corbin must have some marathon runners. From what the update thread showed LCA just ran out of gas. Not to take ANYTHING away from the Redhounds.

Impressive win for Corbin.

1) This is probably the best power team we will face. Huge, powerful, talented linemen. Those guys wore LCA out. As the first half score showed (27-21), LCA was able to adapt for a while. LCA never could, however, put much of a pass rush on the QB.

Two power backs who just took it to us.

2) Along with the power game, a talented senior QB who was accurate, mobile and made good judgements.

3) This game had the atmosphere of playoff game: excitement, jitters, good opponent.

This was probably the best test we've had. I mean no insult to Raceland, but last week Raceland had a lot of key people missing.

Corbin has already had 2 big tests; Belfrey and Dunbar.

4) We face 2 more opponents ranked in the top of their classes: Breathitt Co. (3A) and Hazard (1A).

Knowing how excellent our coaches are, this game should only make us stronger for the playoffs.

I would lean towards the LATTER assessment. Corbin is tough.

Corbin's big line took control and led the Hounds to the win. LCA has a good team and will only get better from these type of challenges.

Sorry about the lose Bluto, Im sure LCA will pick it back up. LCA is a class act. I hope we see you all in november, I need to do some christmass shopping.

This is a good win for Corbin. What were Cashen's numbers? I really like the way he takes charge out there.

Great win for the Corbin Redhounds. Take the long drive to Lexington and pull out the win against a tough team is very impressive. Good luck to LCA next week.

Great win for Corbin, I knew they had a chance but winning this big is impressive. GOOD JOB HOUNDS!

I didn't expect a blowout. Corbin is rounding into a nice team. The Belfry loss doesn't look nearly as bad after seeing them destroy everybodyelse they have played.

I think it continues next week. What do the Hounds have comin up that will supplement the young runners of Watkins and Fritz? They have been able to run behind an experienced line. I think the Hounds are a longshot to win the 2A. Congrats to Coach Jewell and Coach Farris. They are winners in my book.

Convincing win for Corbin tonight. LCA is a tough 1A school no doubt about it, they have speed galore. Corbin was just much much more physical than them tonight. Big Jarrod Martin had a good game as did the whole line, Martin sticks out in my mind because of about a 20 yd. drive block. Clint had all the time in the world, Fritz and Watkins continued to run people over then make them miss. We could see a double headed monster in the future for Corbin. Big 'ol Michael Campbell does his job well 4yds here 5 there 10 when we need it, he is a load. Then the play maker Rob Madon, what else can you say. Now its time to get ready for M'boro, get even for the score fest last year. Good Job Hounds keep pluggin, there is a long hard row to hoe, but it will be a fun ride where ever it takes us
