I know the kid is a great atlent and is really being looked at, but does he have any actual offers?

 

Not saying that he won't, but wouldn't it seem hard to commit if you didn't have any offers yet.

I am sure a coach of Rash's caliber would not just put a statement like that out there without some pretty solid info. Being a Jr, I believe the offers to Seniors have a priority to recruiters.

While he doesn't hold a UC offer yet, I know the staff is very interested...

It looks like UK and UC are showing the most interest right now. Neither have offered yet...

That's fine, but what I'm saying is this: doesn't it seem a bit odd that a kid would commit during the summer, baring that he has no offers right now? I mean, there are still camps, visits and a whole woo'ing process to go through.

I am not real sure why you feel like questioning this .... but .. I guess you will see it when you see it.

I played with Dom his sophmore year. We worked together all year, and everything just came naturally to him. I knew from that year that he was something special. Good luck to Dom wherever he goes, just dont forget the little people who helped you get started :D

The fact is Mainello does not have an offer to go anywhere yet. He may end up with 20 division 1 offers, but he doesn't have any at this point. If he is big time, he will have several offers before May 1.

All you "experts" out there crack me up, you know nothing of the situation, but all have an opinion,and you know what they say about those! Let the boy enjoy the proccess, it is up to his parents, his coach, and himself, as to what his future brings. "If hes big time"? how does that change anything in your little world, Hes big time enough to get some attention, congrats young man, have fun riding the wave, you have earned it, don't liston to the wantabes, or almost was, haters!
