I am not questioning the kid, for all you over-zelous, super sensitive Dom supporters. I am questioning the statement by the coach.

 

"Rash had mentioned to me earlier that he thought the junior two-way lineman might commit to a college before the end of the school year."

 

How does one commit to a school that has not offered? If you can answer me that, then I'd love to hear it. I'm just saying that the coach sounds a lot like he may be putting the cart in front of the horse.

 

But as I have always said, best of luck to the kid and I hope he lands many offers that will help him do KY proud.

Are you having reading comprehension problems? He could verbal before his SR year depending on what happens over the next several weeks. Not exactly a definitive statement. If you know anything about the recruiting process, you know quality coaches are very active in the process and talk to the recruiters from the interested schools on a pretty regular basis. Chances are about 99.7% he knows what he's talking about when making that statement to Ernst...
