September 4, 200719 yr I've had four sons play soccer. Great sport. Y'all know I love football, so you can have two loves. Sons also played football. Soccer isn't for everyone just like football isn't and I'm glad we have it for the skinney kids who run like little deer. Glad you relative enjoys football.
September 4, 200719 yr Soccer is the VERY BEST sport for a kid to play when they are young. Soccer is all about footwork and EVERY other sport is based on good footwork. Playing soccer in your young age will do nothing but make you better in other sports. And it is more entertaining than football.:sssh:

When I ran the Frankfort Youth football League I started a flag league for the young'uns to combat the communist sport that is soccer.

September 5, 200719 yr Ah, that must explain why nobody ever scores! Yeah but therein lies the beauty of soccer. When you see a goal you understand how much work and communication and ball movement and all the things that went into scoring that goal.
