Thers has been plenty of comments/discussion on which conference is the best in the country. I was just going to start one on what conference is everyones favorite (not necesarily the one you think is best) that you enjoy watching. I will list mine:

I like the Big Ten, with the OSU-Michigan rivalry. The SEC with LSU-Florida, the ACC with V Tech-Clemson, and the Big 12 with the Texas-Oklahoma match up.

As a conference, I don't think any have the tradition/pageantry that the SEC does. The Big 12 is a possibility but comes up short.

 

Personally, the Big Ten does nothing for me from either a style of play or tradition or pageantry. I do like the OSU/Mich rivalry but not nearly as much as I used to.

I like watching SEC games. If none of them are on I will look for a Pac 10 or Big east.

When I think of a question like this, I look at it this way: if my favorite teams aren't playing, what games would I watch. Given that as my criteria, I prefer watching them in this order:

 

1. SEC

2. Big 12

3. Pac 10

4. ACC

5. Big East

6. WAC

7. Mountain West

8. Big 10 (you couldn't get me to watch a Purdue at Northwestern game for love or money) (obviously, there are exceptions, like OSU / Mich. or Wisconsin at Penn St., but as a rule I find their brand of football to bore me to tears)

1. SEC

2. PAC 10

2a. Big East

 

Middle. Whatever isn't the Big 10.

 

Last. Big 10

I obviously watch other games, but come on, who turns on a game and says, ewwww, I love the Pac 10! That's silly.

 

I will watch any game if it's a good game. Good teams or a good matchup.

The SEC and the Big 10 are my favorites.

A college football game is great entertainment regardless of the conference that each team represents.

Come on 98. You're saying if Northwestern is playing at Minnesota, you'd rather watch that than Oregon at Arizona St.? Obviously good teams and matchups are the draw, I took the question to mean if games are on that aren't traditional "good teams" or "good matchups", how do you decide where to land. For me, the Big 10 games are boring. Period. Give me Wake at Clemson over Purdue at Michigan St. all day long. Heck, South Florida at Rutgers would be a choice of mine way before Michigan St. at IU (I know, that is one of your squads).
