You know that I'm as big a fan of Jared as there is (barring you and other personal friends), but you have to understand time and score and when not sliding is the right thing to do. I'm sure it was about .4 seconds after he started his slide that he realized it was the wrong move to make.

Oh, I agree but there's no way you would've seen that horrible attempt at a slide his rookie year. Also, the reason I think it was a bad slide is because he realized, about .4 seconds after he started it, that it was the wrong move. Tough situation though, hell I was nervous...

There is no way he comes up short if he lowers his shoulder, but I'm sure he was shell shocked to even be in there. If he would have gotten the first down, he could have led them to a score, in my opinion. Though I was pulling for the 'boys, I was so pumped when Lo was in there.

TO was holding his right arm down in some sort of gesture as he was crossing the goal line. There was a delay of game called for a player spiking the ball after a play. Now if they would just call it for all the celebrating after routine tackles that would be good. I saw one lineman rock the baby after a tackle, and another crawl around on his hands and knees woofing like a dog after another stop.
