August 31, 200719 yr You think you hate Thursday night games...what are the fans in Louisville going to do on Friday night October 5th when Louisville plays Utah on Friday night...one of two Friday night games for Louisville this year. Hasn't anyone told the colleges that Friday nights are for high school games and not colleges. I agree but the schools will play whenever that they can get t.v. coverage and the t.v. $$$ from it.

What was it, 14 or 15 points he had? I can't wait to make my "Art Carmody for Heisman" poster. Carmody is just sick, if he can find a team in the NFL that has a punter that can kickoff he can be in the NFL for 15 years. If he could kickoff he would be drafted in the second round. Maybe still will! I wish the University would do more for him like huge poster that says "Mr Groza's house" I don't know something like that. I also noticed they quit saying Art Automatic Carmody in the 2nd half.

I think he's saying hold off on crowning UofL's offense the best in the country until they face some stiffer competition. Putting points up against Murray State isn't a good measuring stick of good any team's offense is.

While the 73 points against Murray can be downplayed to some degree...the fact that they scored them in something like 13 minutes of possession is a bit more telling, IMO. If it were just this one game with no history to back it up, then I'd agree with those who are downplaying it. However, U of L has had one of the premiere offenses in college football for several consecutive seasons and their performance against Murray should only make it clear that they're going to continue that this year. Whether they are, in fact, the best offense is up for debate....whether they are one of the best is not.

But we actually do pay attention to what's going on down the road, and we KNOW you're better than in the past. By the way, we welcome that! It does wonders for our SOS, so keep up the good work! August 31, 200719 yr Classless by Kragthorpe... Please explain...it is a standard football rule that you keep your starters in the first half, and the first series of the second half. That's exactly what Coach K did...bravo..he got booed by people for running the ball at the end.
