First of all Coach Lucas stepped down and Coach Yeagle wanted Coach Lucas as the Offensive Coordinator since they worked well together at Beechwood. As for Coach Yeagle he was taken to the hospital on Friday two hour's before the bus left for the E'town game. He was in the hospital the prior week for dehydration. As far as Beechwood putting on a whoppin from what I seen Saturday will not happen. I really do think this will be a good game. If Coach Yeagle is not there Coach Lucas along with the rest of the coaches will do a fine job. They have really worked hard and well together all summer long. Lloyd played E'town close and was winning with a minute plus to go from what I understand. The Jugg's will be ready. JD

Do you know if he is back at school coaching the team yet?:confused:

No Yeagle is not back coaching yet... But I would rather him rest up for the game on friday. I would hate for them to have another 911 call to the school to take him to the hospital. I just hope that he have a speedy recovery and is back for those boys on friday this game will mean a lot to both them and Yeagle if they can pull out a win. which is possible if they play with their hearts and improve on their fundamentals we will have a good game on our hands. what is interesting is that Lloyd had more passing and rushing yards than E-town did. im not sure about the passing but E-town only had 70 yrds on the ground while Lloyd had over a 100yrds.

I wouldn't read to much into the E-town loss, a close game there is not reason to think they can play with B-Wood. The Tigers D showed up big against Dixie last week.

 

The line is just to well coached and to big for the Juggs. As far as coach goes, at this point in the program, Yeagle, Lucas or even Vince Lombardi wouldn't make much of a difference. Tigers By 25

Well, if there is anything we Beechwood people know it is to NEVER underestimate Mike Yeagle. That being said, I still think Beechwood wins, but it will be a good, close game.

My heart is always on Lloyd to take it all. But, I think the emotion and everything will have Beechwood take this one.

What I saw in the Dixie vs Beechwood game is that Beechwoods line is big and Bankamper and the QB know how to follow there blockers. I feel both Beechwood and Lloyd have a long way to come yet and this should be a very good football game. I have great respect for both teams and the coaching staff's and wish I could be at the game. I wish both teams the best of luck and especially my Jugg's on top at the end of the game. JD

Just as an FYI, this game will be webcast on Local 12 this week. A link to the cast should be at the top of the front page.

Chances are Coach Yeagle will be at the game Friday. I heard he was at school today and seemed to be feeling OK.

 

With that said I think this will be a close game no matter who wins.

Keys to victory for the Juggs. IMO, I believe that if the Juggs D can stop the run, they will be in sight of a "W". The Juggs DB's are very good they will not let Becchwood pass on them. Also if the Juggs run game goes well then they will attack from the air. Beechwood's DB's will not be able to cover the Juggs WR's and then its game over.
