NCC will rise to the task.

NCC by 7.

I had a friend attend the CCH game this past weekend. He commented that they looked bad and that they could not get a play off. I'll take NCC by 14+.

I was there. I would not say that CCH could not get a play off, but the first and second team QB could not complete many passes (1 for 12 with 1 int for TD) and they only got 1 or 2 first downs. Third QB had much better success ( 7 for 13 with 1 TD). The running game seemed to improve once the passing game got going. They missed Buckley. The defense spent most of the first half on the field due to the offenses inability to maintain possession. You might think the defense had problems if you look at the score, but this was not really the case. Special teams looked okay on two kickoffs and several returns. 6 punts for 41 yard average and not much return. Overall CCH did not look prepared to play. They need to regroup if they are to beat NCC.:irked:

WOW!!! What a way to win friends and Influence people .:sssh: :sssh:

Here is a Rule #8 reminder....

8. Any attempt to use or suggest profanity is prohibited. This means you may not use symbols to replace some or all of the letters in a word that might otherwise be blocked by the BGP word filter.

Saw where NCC's soccer goalie got hurt this week in a soccer and missed last night's game.

Is this also the kicker who was putting the ball in or at the endzone and kicked two field goals?

If so, that would be a huge loss for NCC in the field position game.

No That was a different Chris Grosser . I compared pictures in the program of the soccer team and the football team definately a different kid .

I think this game will be close for a change, but the Colonels still win.

I forgot to mention my prediction. CCH 28 NCC 14. CCH should come in with some attitude after seeing the coaches poll. Attitude is something they did not have against LaSalle.

Looks like the weather will be a cool 85 and mostly sunny. 85 is cool compared to what it has been.

Game time is at 1:00.

:D :D

I would have loved to have 85 last Saturday at Dixie.

I think CovCath will win this game. While the small schools had some success this past weekend, I still feel the big schools have a huge advantage. And no disrespect to Dixie, CovCath has used that advantage to its benefit in the past and will do so against NCC.

As for their loss to LaSalle, I expected a closer game. LaSalle is not, by GCL standards, a good team this year. I was somewhat surprised by the margin of loss. If Newcath wins this game by anything other than a fluke, the folks in Park Hills definitely need to have worries. But again, I don't think that's going to happen.

Lasalle is, by any standards, a good team. I don't see how you can sit there and say they aren't when the newspapers already are talking about them beating elder.. and giving X some trouble-i wouldn't say a win but will make them work. They are so talented they could go head to head with any school in Kentucky and pretty much drive them in the ground.

CCH 31 Newcath 10
