Cov Cath will win this match-up easily. Nothing against NCC, but Cov Cath needs this one more than NCC. Cov Cath vs. Ryle scrimage was a pretty close contest - big men against big men. IF Cov Cath can get the passing game rekindled from last year... they should man handle the breds from Newport.

Ncc's QB and Ball Catchers will have a field day on CovCath. No way you will be able to cover them all. Bunch of talent and speed

Man-handle some strong words, don't think so this year. Breds win this one. See you Sunday in church

NewCath has a lot of talent at WR and RB, but they have a very young line and will have to run the ball effectively to beat a team like CovCath. I believe that they have made the best adjustments that they could after the Dixie scrimmage. NewCath does not need to win this game, but it would be a very bold statement to the rest of AA if they win. However, they've had very little success or luck the past couple of seasons, but then again, Pete Sutton and Kurt Bovard have graduated. Should be a good game.

I think CCH's team speed will kill NCC. CCH's tough D will not allow more than 14 points. And i think this is the game where CCH's O will come out and show itself. How has the JV game been between these 2 teams. I think CCH won last year and the year before that, but I'm not sure.

I got a feel for NCC in this one. They are wanting to prove that they can beatthe team that beats Highlands. Sort of left-handed bragging rights. Good luck to all the former FTJFL Breds.

I think the Colonels are affraid to admit it this year, but it is alright we all know it will be long year for them. Go Catholics I mean Newport.

Why don't they go beat the Highlands for themselves? When it happens it feels pretty good.:ylsuper:

I remember the late 70's when these schools were 3A rivals - correct me if I am wrong. Now NCC is a 2A school and CCH is... what, a 5A school in the current system? If so, I'll go with the 2A Breds by 3, which was calculated by the very complicated formula (5A - 2A = 3) I don't think CCH will "butter the breds" this year.

CCH and NC did used to play in 3A together. CCH is a 4A school playing at the 5A level.

NCC in a close game, :sssh: I think NCC goes down early in the game but comes back in the 4th quarter to pull off the win.:D :D
