Back To School Blues?

Featured Replies

So alot of people have already started back. Does anyone have any cases of the back to school blues yet?

It's a little blue in our household since our son has gone back to college.

He was excited about going back and really enjoys his University so that helps remove some of the worry from a parent standpoint.

I hate getting back into the swing of things for school. The book buying and the supply list and everything else is just overrated. Gotta get that degree though!

My very first class today already had me feeling overwhelmed, and it was my only class that wasn't a 3 or 4 hundred level class.:madman:

I always dreaded the days leading up to back to school, whether it was high school or college. I didn't sleep well, and had crazy dreams of oversleeping and missing classes, getting in a class with an unreasonable professor, etc...after school started, though, it was OK. It was just the anticipation of it beginning that always got to me.

I miss my boy's being home during the summer. No crazy rushing out the door in the morning, everyone want's a bathroom at the same time.

classes start here at murray in the morning

All of mine have gone back to their own schools. 2 back to college, 1 to middle school and 1 to McDowell. I look at it this way. The house is less crowded and I can actually get out and do some work without worrying about the little ones tearing the house up or fighting.

Good old traffic here at the Head . Lots of it.

Yea - we have one still in college and lives at home and he work's also. He is the caboose.

We had our 3 graduate from MSU and now waiting on the grandkids.

Yep, already dropped a class..

I really miss college. I loved going to Western. Maybe it was because I was a little older, but, I will say this, if I could get paid to attend classes, I would! I loved all my social work classes and, when I got to my Master's level classes, I loved all my Mental Health Counseling classes. I did not like math or stats, but other than that, really enjoyed them. I especially liked my criminal law classes that I decided to take.

Same here.

I hate the first week of school.

Thank you, along with all the others. As I pulled into school no traffic problems at NKU, but parking, ha, that took three lot's. I told my friend on my cell; "I can't wait til people start dropping classes!":dancingpa
