August 18, 200719 yr I'll give you three and a half out of those six. Duncan, AI, Jesus Shuttlesworth, and a half on Starbury. Camby and Van Horn never lived anywhere close to their hype. They made it though. Were not talking about the pro's. In college everyone of those players was a stud, you cannot argue that. Being a stud in college is alot different than panning out in the pros. With that said, all of those players have had a quality career in the league, maybe not superstar but quality.

They made it though. So a 7 time All-Star in Ray Allen who averages 21.5 per game on a career doesn't merit your list? BTW, along the same lines of Draft and Seniors from '92 only Shaquille and Alonzo Mourning were consistent NBA All-Stars. Chris Webber and Penny Hardaway were solid in the next years draft and they were competition the Duke team prevailed against.
August 18, 200719 yr Jesus Hhuttlesworth aka Ray Allen, His name from a movie.. thank you. Had no idea and couldn't imagine why pldgreatno2 wouldn't acknowledge that one. Thanks. :thumb:
August 18, 200719 yr Van Horn, maybe. Knight, Travis, WOW! Battie, seriously. Duncan, all-time best PF. That class was weak. Take out Duncan and you have almost nothing. You have no idea buddy! In college you couldn't have beat these guys if you tried. Yes, they never lived up to their pro hype but in college every one of these guys were tops in stats for their position! Just look and see!

August 19, 200719 yr What conferences were they in? Sorry, but you lost all credibility with this argument when you said they could not stop anyone inside considering that was 1 of their main strengths as a defensive team, especially down the stretch that season.
August 19, 200719 yr Great team. Ranks right up there with the best CB teams I've seen, such as '83 Houston and '84 G-Town.
August 19, 200719 yr thank you. Had no idea and couldn't imagine why pldgreatno2 wouldn't acknowledge that one. Thanks. :thumb: No problem. :thumb:
August 19, 200719 yr Sorry, but you lost all credibility with this argument when you said they could not stop anyone inside considering that was 1 of their main strengths as a defensive team, especially down the stretch that season. You really don't believe that, do you?
August 19, 200719 yr You really don't believe that, do you? Seems like you're the only one who doesn't believe that...
August 19, 200719 yr You really don't believe that, do you? You don't really believe what you are saying do you?
August 19, 200719 yr So you think they could and not the Fab 5. Are you serious? And what about the '93 and/or '05 Tarheels. That '01 Duke team was pretty good too, and very very well conditioned. Are there any other ACC teams you'd like to throw in the mix? Perhaps we should have the top 10 ACC teams before we start with any of the rest of the huddled masses. FWIW, I think the best team ever was '91 UNLV. And if we bring up that they lost to Duke then I would counter that this discussion must be limited to unbeaten teams because even the best teams still lose on some night. That win was a bloody miracle.
August 20, 200719 yr College Basketball didn't have that much talent that year either. Also, honest question because I haven't looked yet, but sans Shaq and Mourning, what did the 1992 class have?
