I would say that is about right!

 

However, a poster said earlier said that he is ready to give them an inside presence is way premature. He is extremely raw and while he might be able to pick up a garbage basket every now and then by hanging around the basket he is not ready to defend at the varsity level.

The Bass kid was measured at 6'8" and weighed well over 300lbs and like I said he looked even bigger when I saw him over the summer. As for guarding at the varsity level you're right he has along way to go but I don't think they will put him in a position where he has to guard someone that can take him away from the basket. Look for a lot of zone when he is in and he will definitely clog the middle.

I was in the weight room yesterday coach measured and weighed him he is 6'9 1/2 356!!

As it looks HC (cov) is gonna have some talent coming that have played as freshman but not after. Could they be a factor in the starting lineup fo HC (cov).. they could make a big impact has anyone heard of them.

the names i have heard are Blake Trimpe, Nick Bolton, Jeffery West.

Why haven't they played since their freshman year? Were they concentrating on other sports?

West plays football and baseball i think he was caught up in football, Trimpe is a golfer but dont think that would affect i, Bolton had some set backs followed his friend to quit sophmore year so was cut for that reason junior year. West and Bolton Seniors, Trimpe a Junior... From what i hear Bolton and Trimpe are gym rats West has football

It would be real tough to take a couple of years off of basketball and come in and make an impact at a school with HC ecpectations. In a district with Holmes and CovCath would not make that any easier.

 

From a program standpoint does it make any sense to take pt away from underclassman who have been in your program for one year players?:confused:

Have an All Region caliber player in Sorrell and Giwa who has been mentioned as a top guard and you are telling me the well has run dry in talent at HC?

Will Reardon try out? If he does can he help?

Need to pray for a realignment in the districts. Its just a crime that 1 of those schools can't make the regional every year.
