Giwa is one of the best ball handlers in the region and can go to the basket better than most guards.

Not that tall, maybe 6'0 or so, but he is strong. They're going to need someone strong to box out and move people around and do the dirty work underneath. They'll have plenty of scorers, they'll just need him to get rebounds and play defense. He sure won't be the first small "big man" in HC history IF he trys out and makes the team.

Need to pray for a realignment in the districts. Its just a crime that 1 of those schools can't make the regional every year.

Giwa, Rettig, Mike Sullivan & possibly sophs Roenker and Lea are all capable scorers to go along with Sorrell. They will have to be if HC is going to be successful. If not, every team will double and use gimmick defenses on Sorrell and it will be a long season.

West plays football and baseball i think he was caught up in football, Trimpe is a golfer but dont think that would affect i, Bolton had some set backs followed his friend to quit sophmore year so was cut for that reason junior year. West and Bolton Seniors, Trimpe a Junior... From what i hear Bolton and Trimpe are gym rats West has football

 

From what I hear Bolton has alot of heart to play basketball and is in the gym getting better. He's working on his outside shot and handling the ball. Trimpe, I'm not sure about. West has played some winter/spring basketball in a men's league. From what I hear he does quite well. It's been a shame West has not played since his fresh yr. There is no doubt......no doubt, West would be their best player. He is a ahtlete. Bolton has tried out his soph, jr. yr. West has not, so I'm not so sure coach would take him back.

Please don't get me wrong, Sorrell is a magnicient player, Giwa is coming into his own, but not there yet. He will be the talk of the 9th in time. OK, I'll recant, that is a bold statement. With Sorrell, Giwa, Reardon, Sullivan, West would be a good addition. But we'll never know if he doesn't play. Sometimes you need to throw things out there to see how others will react.
