From what I hear Bolton has alot of heart to play basketball and is in the gym getting better. He's working on his outside shot and handling the ball. Trimpe, I'm not sure about. West has played some winter/spring basketball in a men's league. From what I hear he does quite well. It's been a shame West has not played since his fresh yr. There is no doubt......no doubt, West would be their best player. He is a ahtlete. Bolton has tried out his soph, jr. yr. West has not, so I'm not so sure coach would take him back.

If West does come back then he could be a starter, im not gonna push it as far as him being better than Sorrell or Giwa Faster than Sorrell stronger than Giwa but we will see. If Bolton works on his ball handling more he could be a potential starter into the season he has a shot we will just see.

They have Sorrell...that's it. Giwa is overrated.

Yes Sorrell is the best player on the squad but Giwa overrated not at all!! People say that because his shot is not the best but from what i have seen this summer out of him he has worked on it and gotten better and for taking it to the basket not many people can stop him!!! last year i saw him take Bud Macke to the basket spin make him fall and make the lay up. He is the real deal

All I can say is that I saw Giwa play a couple of times last year against Holmes and Scott and he struggled mightily on offense & defense.

 

Maybe he has gotten better, but that remains to be seen this season.

Maybe I am a little confused on this one...Brown couldn't play at HC last year and has transferred to Scott. With all of the talk on this thread being that HC is potentially down this year with players having to come out for the team that haven't played in a few years and having to contribute????

 

Wouldn't Brown have played some pretty significant minutes this year at HC?

 

Scott has lots of 2's & 3's positionwise so unless he can play the 4 or 5 is he going to see any significant minutes at Scott?:confused:

I was in the weight room yesterday coach measured and weighed him he is 6'9 1/2 356!!

He has no desire to play football or basketball. Just has no interest. Didn't even try out for basketball this year. Probably hasn't liked sports all along, but with that big body and having a sister who's a star basketball player, I guess he always felt pressure to play.

Also, he never played for John Fortner's AAU teams.
