August 14, 200719 yr I've been to more states in our country than I have Counties in our state, if I was guessing. Are you counting driving through a county? If so, it may not be. However, if you mean actually putting the car in park, I can assure you my state-count far exceeds my county-count.

McCraken is where Paducah is, if you have been there.

Or, if you've ever traveled to Madison, Indiana, by way of Kentucky you would've gone through Trimble.
August 14, 200719 yr After checking the atlas, I've been to exactly half of the counties. 40 counties east of I-75, 20 west of I-75. Man, I'm a homebody. Interesting thread,, since I've kinda been planning touring on my motorcycle all counties of KY.
August 14, 200719 yr I believe I have been to every county, except for Menifee, Morgan, Johnson, Martin, and I am not sure about McCreary and Todd. What are the county seats and burgs in McCreary and Todd? As far as going to, when I was in college I passed through Livingston County on my way over the river, and stopped at a roadside diner that had absolutely the finest pie that I have ever eaten. I had a piece of key lime, a piece of lemon, and a piece of real blueberry, and about four glasses of lemonade. Have you been to Cumberland Falls? If memory serves me right, the county seat of McCreary County is Whitley City.

August 14, 200719 yr Have you been to Cumberland Falls? If memory serves me right, the county seat of McCreary County is Whitley City. I've been to Lake Cumberland, but I don't think I've been to Cumberland Falls. I used to travel in that direction to get to my wife's old house in Tennessee, but I don't remember McCreary County being part of that drive.

The population of the entire county isn't even 10,000 people, it's nestled up around the Maysville/Flemingsburg area, the county seat is Mt. Olivet.

Olivet and a golf course nearby. Blue something or other.
August 14, 200719 yr When you say been to, do you mean simply driving thru or actually doing something in the county. Either way I've seen little of Eastern and Western KY. As far as being in a county I sya driving through...though I change the states that I say I have been in to one that I have spent the night in.
