owsleyking
I know most of you can name many, but I want to hear the three that make you want to play air guitar until you drop!! Mine are: 1: Stranglehold...Ted Nugent 2: Comfortably Numb...Pink Floyd (David Gilmour) 3: River of Tears..Eric Clapton (the live version from One more Car One more Rider). Have at it!!! The Sooner Surge
1. Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd 2. All Along The Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix 3. Eruption - Van Halen To me, nobody can beat Comfortably Numb. People often argue about which part of the solo is the best rather than comparing it to others. Amazing. Jim Schue
I can't really come up with an all-time list without delving heavily into my CD collection, but one of them that fits for sure is Stephen Stills' solo on "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes." Its been rated one of the greatest solos of all time played within a mediocre song, but I think Floods is one of Pantera's underrated songs. That solo is what convinced me to attempt the guitar.
