Ram
We have tried every thing but they just wont leave, any one got the fix all for getting rid off a mole out of your yard? You specified yard, and still got smart comments. But, the best way to get rid of ground moles is to get rid of their food source. They eat grub worms you can get a granule mix that you spread on the yard to kill the grub worms, the moles will leave your yard to find food elsewhere. Now your neighbors may not like you to much, but pass the advise on. If that don't work shoot them:D
HOMELESS CAMEL
If that don't work shoot them Funny you should mention that, I was sitting in the den a few months ago and heard some gun shots outside. Having lived in the city, I just ignore anything and I have seen enough horror movies that you just don't go outside. Course this was in the afternoon, but go with me. In any case, I ask my family later that day what the gunshots were and they said the neighbor saw some moles in our yard and shot a couple of them. I just had flashbacks to Caddyshack, couldn't help it. I want you to kill EVERY gopher on the course. But if I kill all the golfers they are going to lock me up and throw away the key.
cvillecat
The moles are in your yard because you have what they want for supper. It is very likely that you have an ample supply of grubb worms in your yard. Get rid of the grubbs and the moles will move to the next grubb buffet. Check with your county Extension Agent as to what will get rid of the grubbs and the best time to do so.

Keep water flowing in for about 15 minutes. Go inside, watch some Sportscenter (30 minutes) then come back outside armed with a shovel. Normally you can see them moving around in the dirt by then. Xgrad-JAGdad
True story... the Mrs. stalked our mole invader with a screwdriver. That poor thing never had a chance! What a treat for all the neighborhood kids to see. I'm sure she could "whack" one for you Mr. Soprano.
OlDog75
Ive got a dog you can borrow. He killed all of the moles in our yard. I had an old hound like that. After he was done getting all the moles in the yard, my lawn looked like a mine field!
Royal Uncle
If your yard is more of a solid soil like clay, you can place yard windmills like sunflowers or something like that in the ground. The vibration caused by the windmills will drive them crazy and make them leave. If you have a softer, sandy soil this won't work, but it will work quicker than killing the grub worms. But still, kill the grubs.
