You have a point, players salaries are getting way out of hand. He's got good stuff but until he proves to be consistant I wouldn't give him anything big.

Someone will give it to him and that's whats wrong with the MLB but that's another subject.

Hearing the name Maloney in a Reds uniform brings back memories. If Matt can throw as well as Jim ,things could get interesting.:thumb:

The only red flag I can see is a lot of innings on a young arm the last two years. Other than that I like it a lot...

The Reds are gonna have some serious walking around change here in the next few years to play with.

I hope they trade Todd Coffey to the freedom for a 6 pack.
