Thats a very bold statement.

Anyone who saw Ethan's performance against DC ASSault swarming defense

would have no doubt that Ethan will end up as a d-1 point guard, and that puts him in pretty exclusive company in Kentucky:thumb:

Evan also had no problem competing against some of the country's best 17 year olds, Elliot County may end up being the most popular team in the state

over the next two years

Nice photo and t-shirt.....:thumb: Congratulations.

Don't you think that size will hurt him at the next level. Elliot Co. got the taste of success last year and it continues as long as these guys play together. Great bunch of kids.

There are a lot of 6 foot point guards in d-1, and none have a bigger heart

That is awesome. The kids got to meet the legend. How did they re-act?

Don't forget, Wooden started his coaching career at Dayton, Ky High school so he probably has a special place in his heart for Kentucky boys. Nice pic and he is definitely the best EVER at coaching.

Something that will set on the mantle in about 10 homes for many years to come ! Really great job coach getting this opportunity for these kids.

It's hard to imagine a greater honor for a basketball player, or anyone, for that matter, than to get to meet in person and have your picture made with such a wonderful person and great coach. Congratulations!

Coach Wooden was there to watch his great-grandson, I ended up asking someone with him about a group pic and here it was his daughter, right away she said she was born in Covington. She then introduced me to the Coach and he immediately said he got his start in Northern Kentucky, and started talking about NKY on KY. Grandshop, you are correct, he is a wonderful person and was more than happy to meet our guys and talk, we didn't want to bother him too much but you got the feeling that he would have wanted to talk to us for hours. You never would have thought he was 97 the way he talked, every word was clear and he was "with it".

The guys were thrilled to meet Coach Wooden, as was I, and several of the parents on our trip.

Something those kids will never forget.

Out of all the player's in last year's NCAA Tournament field(centers, fowards, shooting guards, point guards) right around 25% of them were 6'2" or under!!!:ylsuper:

Congrats to Team Kentucky on a great summer season especially to the two kids from LIncoln County.

The teams from Kentucky deserve a big thank you from the state, you represented us well.:ylsuper:

Nice photo and t-shirt

Nothing like free advertisement, lol

Another pic, after we defended our Bash at the Beach title. And another BGP T-shirt, maybe it was the shirts?
