Hey, Shooter, any updates?

Ds Eat 17u beat a team from california 58-52 to win our pool, Matt Thomas, Jordan Smart , Landon Slone and Nathan Novosel with some big buckets late, DS West 17u

won a triple overtime game to win their pool, Taylor Stewart with 25,

Ds 16u lost to finish 3rd n their pool , (16-17u all combined out here)

Ds 17u East plays maybe the best team in the country tonight, with their backcourt going to UCLA and their big man going to duke

they are the Pump and run elite, last year Jim Harrick coached them, don't no who is coaching them tonight, but we look forward to playing them

On a good note, most of our kids has seen their stock rise out there with

even sec conference talking about one of our kids along with several mid majors, should get some really nice shcolarships with this trip:thumb:

Thanks a lot. It's great to hear the good news about our Kentucky kids.

Shouldnt Matt be at Football Practice?? Especially knowing he has a new position...

Team Kentucky advances in tourney play with a win tonight. Team Kentucky plays again late tomorrow afternoon.

I guess a college scholarship is pretty important to him, and Coach Hart understands that

Ds east 17u ended their season tonight, losing to Team Jones 73-50. Doesnt sound that good until you compare Team Jones beat the Pump N Run elite team by 20, and also beat Indiana Elite earlier by 14. They are a team out of Oregon, sponsored by Fred Jones, an NBA player who just got traded to the Knicks. They were an excellent team, but the boys from Kentucky had a great run in Los Angeles, with a 3-1 record. My guess is all the kids will get their college paid for from this trip. Congrats to a great bunch of kids

Matt Thomas

Clark Stepp

Cam Hundley

Richie Phares

Evan Faulkner

Leonard Macon

Nathan Novosel

Jordan Smart

Landon Slone

3 of these kids are 16's playing up and will be back for a strong DS team next year:thumb:

Look for all of these kids to have a major impact on the state of Kentucky baseketball this year

Scott County/ Lex Cath game will be another war

Elliot County and June Buchanan should probally determine who wins the all A

this year

Look for several of these kids at Rupp

Good luck guys

and good night

Great to finally see KY get its just due in basketball , now maybe our in state schools should learn to get players from IN- STATE ( or most of them ).!:thumb:

How many teams does KY have still shooting in tourneys out of state?

Thanks again for keeping us posted. I think we can all feel good about the quality of players we've put on the floor from Kentucky.

Ditto

Shooterx3, congrats & congrats to all the kids for a great summer ! Not only do these kids do a great job on the court but knowing most of them I can tell you they are better off the court. I am sure their parents are extremely proud of the gentlemen they are.

Team Ky lives to fight another day in LA ! They will play later this evening so best of luck to them. I am not sure if Shining Stars are still playing in Orlando maybe someone can update us. Are DS 16 & DS West 17's still in it in LA?

Good luck to Team Kentucky this evening! sidelinecoach, can you tell us what guys make up this team?

Congrats Team Kentucky. I've heard that Tyler Maynard was 11 for 18 from the land of 3 in the 1st 3 games, not too bad.

Sorry, have been away from the computer.

Shining Star Sports-Ponzer is still playing in the tournament bracket at the Nationals. They did not play as well as they would have liked in pool play. They only have eight kids in Orlando and Nic Simpson got hurt twice during pool play. He sprained an ankle and then cut a nasty gash on his forehead.

They play again tonight in the classic bracket of the tourney. They are hoping to make a run to finish the season.

This team has played well all year. Arrez Henderson, Nic Simpson and Mike Sparks are getting a ton of attention and have really helped themselves with a solid July.

It is nice being able to get the updates from all of the teams in Kentucky.

Shooter, congrats to all of your teams. Way to represent!!
