Team Ky lost to Southeast Elite by 11 after leading by 3 at the half. I think the final was 75-64, Tyler Maynard of Elliott Co led the way with 20 pts on 6-7 shooting from 3's. He hit the 1st 5 he took. Pelphry from Arkansas among others were watching. I think the UC coach was there. The other teams DS East & West 17 along with DS 16's were to play later in the evening but I have not heard anything yet. Southeast Elite had a major recruit on their team that I'm almost positive UK has made an offer to but his name escapes me at this time.

Team Kentucky lost by 9, against Southeast Elite, one of the better teams in the tourney, who had 4 and 5 star recruit Courtney Fortson who is top 50 in his class and 7th as a PG in his class. Fortson was also Mr. Basketball in Alabama this past season. They also had 6'8" lefthander Romero Orby, another 4 star recruit, top 50 and 17th in his class. Both of these players are being heavily recruited by a lot of the major D-1 schools, including Kentucky.

Team Kentucky got out to an early 9-4 lead, and it went back and forth for most of the game, both teams held up to 11 point leads at times but the other team quickly cut it to lower single digits or took the lead. I think it was a 4 or 5 point game with about a minute left. Everyone played hard and Team KY had their chances to pull this one out.

Pelphrey from Arkansas, Cincinnati, Vandy, SMU, and about 25-30 other college coaches were watching this game.

Besides Maynard's 20 points and going 6 of 7 from the three I do not have any other totals at this time.

Team Kentucky is in a very tough pool, they play a very good Bay Area Hoosiers team from San Francisco tomorrow morning.

The DSAS 16's and 17's East both won tonight, I will let Shooter give the specifics on their games.

Ds East team won against the Force, a nike team out of Colorado who won their pool in vegas 72-65, DS West team had about a 20 point win, and the Ds 16u team won by about 40. Should be some good games tomorrow.

Looks like Team Texas pulled out of the event rather than face the DS 17u team :D

Cam Hundley was looking forward to meeting Mr Warren

We played the Bay Area Hoosiers in Vega, got their own $200,000 bus so you know they are a pretty established program

You will have your hands full

Good Luck

Well, we didn't shoot very well this game, and the Hoosiers were on. It was probably the first team we played in 3 weeks out here that was quicker than us, they were getting about every rebound as well.

Ohio Basketball Club 17's with big Yancy Gates held on to beat the DS 16's today 77-72, gritty game for the undersized 16's , BJ Mullins didn't play for the ohiio club, but they were still much bigger than the ds 16's. Clint Stepp went off for 29 against them , that kid is going to set some 3 point records before he is through, probally the best pure shooter in the state right now as a sophomore

DS East 17u goes to 2-0 in pool play with a 61-49 win over a team from California, Landon Slone led us in scoring with 17 big ones, all the guys played well down the stretch as we were trailing 39-35 in second half before a big finish, playing for the pool championship sunday afternoon, if we win that one, we get a big game with Pump and Run Elite, probally a top 5 team in the country!:thumb:
