3 away from tainting the most treasured record in all of sports. :irked:

"IF" anything good comes out of this there will "or should be" programs honoring the life and carrer of Hank Aaron.............(the real HR King), hopefully they will also mention Babe Ruth and Willie " the sey hey kid" Mays. These are the REAL Home Run Kings.

I have no problem with him breaking the record.

I applauded him when they were here.

I despise the man he is, but I appreciate the heck out of his talent.

I wouldn't necessarily applaud him, but I wouldn't boo him either. I mean, a roided home run hitter against roided up pitchers is kind of a wash, IMO. He's just a horses behind...

Not a moron?

Not a moron?

Geez, go outside the box and still take one on the chin...:irked: ;)

He's just a horses behind...

:thumb: This pretty much says it all.

I really hope that the investigation proves he was on roids.

GO BARRY!!!! :ylsuper:

Like Bonds or not, he's one of the all-time greatest MLB players ever....His entire career, he's produced, with the exception of early in his years at Pittsburgh, during the playoffs. He can hit 4th, on any team I have.

He sells tickets, creates match-up problems for pitchers, gives opposing Managers concern, piles up intentional walks....but only if he was media friendly, had an off the field personality, we might just like him. Many say they can't stand Bonds, but the attendance is certainly up, on any road trip, where the Giants play.

The enhancements, well we can draw our own conclusions but if he's the only one, who ever or still is, breaking the "Rules of the Game", then I say stone him.

He's making history, that many will debate and declare undeserving. Just keep in mind, a foreign substance to the ball, shaved weight off bat, cork, bill of a pitcher cap soaking wet, injections and so on....are also wrong.

4.2 magnitude earthquake strikes San Fran Bay Area. Even God is against Barry breaking the record. The world may come to an end soon. Personally, I wouldn't mind if the ground kept shaking in the Bay Area.

I remember back when Bonds looked like Kenny Lofton at one point. MLB is and will be forever tainted in this era.
