GREAT Movie.

Definitely deserves the "R" rating but it is an excellent movie.

Samuel L Jackson and Christina Ricci star in it.

I will never forget when I first saw the teaser trailer for the film last year. Saying I was A TAD confused is being kind. :lol:

 

Once I read more on the film and saw the complete trailer, it still baffled me, but I was curious to see it. I heard A LOT about the nudity and Christina Ricci's character and the amazing thing is, the nudity isn't there just to be there, it actually fits the character and the scene.

 

I thought the film was okay, I just didn't like the Dr Phil ending AT ALL. But that's just me.

This movie currently resides in my Netflix movie queue in the #10 spot. Looking forward to seeing it.

I thought it was a great movie. Sameul L & Christina played their roles to perfection. The young man searching for butterbeans sure had a story to tell about how he spent his summer vacation.:lol:

We were at Blockbuster the other night with the intent to rent this one, but it was sold out at the time. I'm very intrigued.

I actually bought this the day after it came out, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I love Samuel L., and he came through once again. Great movie!

For me it was ok.... I am not into southern movies, but I am not from the south.

I am a huge Samuel L. Jackson fan, but I have to say I was not pleased with the movie. I guess I was expecting more because of all the "hype".

I was not impressed by this movie, once you figure out why she is chained up the rest of the movie is VERY predictable. Honestly after the chain is explained I think it is kinda boring.

 

But I hear "Men on Film" gave it two snaps up for the name alone......
