July 22, 200719 yr Time for Saarlooser to take a hike... I agree but what else do we really have to replace him.
July 22, 200719 yr Has he fully recovered? He was taken off the DL and sent to Louisville on Friday...
July 22, 200719 yr After the Open was finished, I saw the score was 2-2. I took one of my senior citizen naps and I wake up to the see the bullpen did it's job again today. Just unreal. This team was 5-3 heading into the final 3 games at Florida and they couldn't win one of them. So after that great series in Atlanta, a good start to the series in Florida, they end up 5-6.

July 23, 200719 yr CTR: Anyway, onto the news of the day. Aaron Harang has been reinstated from the bereavement list, and Ricky Stone cleared waivers ( Shocker ) and was outrighted back to Louisville. I'm sure we'll hear more news when we get to the ballpark.
July 23, 200719 yr Good idea problem is he isn't ready. How many of the guys in the pen aren't ready to be pitching at this level already? Why not add another???
July 23, 200719 yr Freel CF Keppinger 3B Griffey RF Phillips 2B Dunn LF Conine 1B Lopez SS Ross C Harang P From ESPN.com Adam Dunn is cleaning up when he bats fourth, hitting .329 with 10 home runs. He's not so great batting fifth: .190 with four homers.
July 23, 200719 yr Another Adam Dunn rumor. the Nationals are pursuing Adam Dunn. Huh? Makes no sense on the surface. Jim Bowden's possible motivation would be to sign Dunn long-term and make him the cornerstone of the franchise. If he fails at that, all would not be lost given the draft pick compensation. Rosenthal says the market for Dunn beyond Washington is a bit foggy - the Twins, Angels, Yankees, Red Sox, and Padres could all get involved but none stand out.
