I have to give him above average since he caught it with his hat...no doubt the correct call was made though.

With his hat???

He used a glove.

I may be wrong but it looked like the fan that caught the ball caught it with his hat...

HOMER # 20 for Phillps...4-2

I thought it was a guy in a Marlins cap but he was also wearing a black glove, his buddy was wearing a brown glove, they both reached over but the Marlins fan caught it.

BP has just been hitting everything, he could end up with over 30 home runs.

If he continues this pace, he could end up commanding 7-8 million a year eventually, if not more.

I thought it was really interesting to hear the new/interim announcer read us the FULL promo for the Best Darn Sports Show. I know why George doesn't give us the full name and it doesn't bother me anymore. You just get used to hearing without the one word.

STONE IS BAD!!!!!!

Why would you say something like that??? Just RUDE!

Chrissy said it best, your team is down 7 and Freel is crashing into the wall.

And thats stupid and why he isn't an everyday player (shouldn't be). Beating yourself up on a play that doesn't matter.

Yep. I know we have plenty of coaches and players on this site and you always want to play hard and compete on every play. But there is also flat out stupidity and Freel crosses that line on more than a few occassions.

Really can't get upset, Reds had a nice winning streak and can just start another one tomorrow.

Lohse pitches into the 7th, but gives up 7 runs, 4 earned.

Possibly the greatest relief pitcher in the history of baseball came in and gave up the other 3.

Reds should be able to score plenty of runs tomorrow against Byung-Hyun Kim. Hopefully Livingston can have another strong outing.

I'm almost to the point now where I'd be comfortable next year with Harang , Arroyo, Homer, Dumatrait, and the Livingston vs having the Reds bungle a FA acquisition and give up top-notch offense.

Nothing in the last two nights has changed my mind on this.

Unless we're showcasing Belisle and/or Lohse, when Homer is healthy and when he has decent command of his pitches, him, Dumatrait, and Livingston have to be the 3 though 5s.

Time to start another winning streak.

Yep, rough first inning for Livingston, but at least he was able to get out of it without giving up any runs.
