June 28, 200719 yr That was BEFORE AI really came, so you can throw this excuse out the window... Yes, the suspension and fight was before Iverson came to Denver. But, it was a game or 2 into Melo's suspension that Denver traded for AI. By the time Melo rejoined the Nuggets, over 30 games of the season had passed without AI and him being on the court together. Give them an ENTIRE season together before you judge whether or not the trade was a failure. :thumb:
June 28, 200719 yr Well most on here know how I feel about AI. I think he is a cancer and he is a "loser". Everywhere he has been him team has been losers. How the Nuggets were not awesome this year just amazed me. I wouldn't consider him a top 5 guard anymore. Maybe not even top 10. However he plays hard every game and I admire that.
June 28, 200719 yr He just seems like he can't and won't ever get over the hump to be a winner and I don't consider him a top 10 guard anymore. If you mean "run my team" as in PG, who are the 10?
June 28, 200719 yr If you mean "run my team" as in PG, who are the 10? I worded that wrong. I should have said leader of my team.
June 28, 200719 yr Not illogical at all. No doubt AI was a great player but his best days a behind him and I could see 10 people I would reather have RUN my team than him. No one is saying his best days aren't behind him, but to call him a Cancer and a "loser" is illogical. Also incorrect. He led a team to the Finals on his back, something your beloved Kobe has been FAR from doing the last few years minus Shaq in LA. Everything you hear from Eric Snow, McKie, Raja, C-Webb, etc. is that Iverson is a great teammate. Therefore, your labels were without logic. AKA: Illogical. He is probably the best "small player" in the history of the NBA. That "ain't" bad. :thumb:
June 28, 200719 yr He may be but your acting like leading his team to the fianls in a weak eastern conference is something special. I like AI some what so its not about that. 4 years ago he would be in my top 3.

I like AI some what so its not about that. 4 years ago he would be in my top 3. Hmm? It got Chauncey and LBJ a lot of attention. And yes, leading a team to the NBA Finals, nearly single-handedly (and winning a road game once you get there, again, nearly single-handedly), is "something special." So he is getting older, that makes him a "cancer" and a "loser"?
June 28, 200719 yr I guess guys like Karl Malone, John Stockton and Charles Barkley are losers too....
June 28, 200719 yr No he is a "loser" because he has never won anything. Gotta get back to work. More to come later.
June 28, 200719 yr I guess guys like Karl Malone, John Stockton and Charles Barkley are losers too.... Besides the fact the had multiple winning seasons. Come on how many years has AI's team had winning seasons.
June 28, 200719 yr Besides the fact the had multiple winning seasons. Come on how many years has AI's team had winning seasons. 6 of 9 in Philly...
June 28, 200719 yr Besides the fact the had multiple winning seasons. Come on how many years has AI's team had winning seasons. Assuming Sticky's numbers are correct, 7 of 10.....
