July 12, 200917 yr The answer to my question (and it gratifies me that there was no cheating) is Dutch Zwilling. A friend of mine used to have a baseball trivia book called "From Aaron to Zuverink" and I thought that Zuverink was last, but it turns out that book was only about players from the 50s.
