July 9, 200917 yr I did a report on the "Tinkers to Evers to Chance" poem by Franklin Pierce Adams in a linguistics class in college. I know he was the 3rd baseman in the Cubs infield with the guys mentioned. Absolutely correct. The poem is the only time I've heard the term "gonfalon bubble".

During the World Series game that got rained out last year in the World Series, Jim Leyland admitted to smoking almost an entire carton of cigarettes while waiting for the rain to stop. That is all. Which Orioles reliever did Earl Weaver nickname "Full Pack" because that's how many that Earl smoked during this guy's relief appearances?

Who is he? Contreras? I know from watching Sportscenter and Baseball tonight that he has pitched well lately. I think his worst game was his outing against the Reds. I know he only last 5 or 6 innings that game, so that could really damage the possibility that he's gone 7.2 innings per start, and I'm not sure exactly how old he is.
