It will never cease to amaze me how UK football fans can run down another program or coach wile building their own abysmal football program up so much. We all know you hate UK more than anything else on Earth, but come on now. That makes the least amount of sense of anything you have ever posted. By that rationale, the only teams you are allowed to discuss are those that rank below you in all time status??? :confused: That would eliminate 99% of the posts on this message board. I believe every single UK football fan on this website will acknowledges the program overall has sucked through history. I challenge you to find just one that does not.

You weren't just trying to point out that UK hasn't beat Fulmer. Does that hatred that you carry for UK and their fan base ever get heavy enough that you have to stop and set it down for a few minutes? I love looking back at the UL Baseball threads and all of the UK fans that were supporting them and rooting them on and then re-read a few of your posts that do nothing but spew blind-hatred at UK...it is very refreshing.
July 17, 200719 yr Keeping in mind that I am an FSU football fan first, UK football second, let me say this: Judging Fulmer's performance on a national scale, not just against UK where his record has been stellar (and why wouldn't it be), Fulmer and Tennessee has underachieved. Since they won the national title, they have lost 5 of 7 bowl games, have won zero SEC championships, have only played for two, and have lost 30 games. While 70-30 over the course of 8 seasons is good in a lot of places, that is considered to be underachieving at UT (it's a record of roughly 9-4 averaged). Just my two cents on that.

It's not blind. Until the end of my senior year in high school I was as dyed in the wool, blue blooded a UK fan as anyone on here. I continued to follow and even wish UK football well through the Curry era. For reasons that I will keep to myself that obviously changed.

Fulmer was firmly on the hot seat last, and manged to only slightly work his way off. After a very disappointing bowl loss, he'll be right back on it this year. He's been in the same spot as Tubby, IMHO. Head coach of the major state university team in a state crazy for the sport. The difference is that Fulmer has brought in the talent, but underachieved with it. If he loses 4 or 5 games this year, look out for a change in Knoxville. All that said, UTs definition of underachieving is in no way comparable to UK. Nobody has claimed that UK is better than UT. UT has a long tradition of football success, and the national titles to prove it. For UT, losing 4 games is a terrible season, UK would be giddy to lose only 4.

Which is what I was pointing out when I talked about Fulmer and Tennessee. However, All Tell decided to somehow twist that into the fact that "The UK fans were bashing another program/coach that we have been unable to beat." I lived in Knoxville for 4 1/2 years and only moved back last year, believe me the UT fans are not happy with the state of their program and last years improvement did little to placate them. I was not however, bashing their program and I didn't mention UK in my comments at all. THAT, All Tell, is what we're talking about when we talk about your obvious distaste for UK and incessant spewing of venom towards their fans.
