I would Trade Dunn and Edwin. Move Freel or Castro to 3rd. I would release Milton, I would spend some money on free agent just on pitching. Another starter and in the bullen. I would Fire the coach. What does everyone else think

If the owner is doing all of this they don't need a GM:devil:

I'm getting vibes from people in the know "close" to Cincy management, that they have all but thrown their hands in the air...if a trade does occur, which is likely just to show people that something is being done...it will be for 38-39 year old has beens.

I'm now beginning to wonder if Krivsky has a plan? If so...please display.

If Cincy has opportunity to have a DH, then why in the world would Hatteberg not be in the lineup?

I figured you would want your 9 best sticks to come to the plate in games with a DH.

Narron has time and time again displayed his incompetence we just have to accept it:cry:

E-5 has to stay, Freel can't stay healthy and I don't know if Castro will ever be an everyday player.

Milton is already going to be gone after this year, with Lohse doing his best to pitch himself off the team. Leaves the Reds another open starter spot. If you start next year with Harrang, Arroyo, the Savior and Belisle.

If that rotation holds and Lohse is gone, the Reds would likely just sign a mid level starting pitcher, if they don't bring anyone else up. Dunn would likely be gone only because the Reds don't want to be tied up in a huge contract.

Aside from starting pitching or the bullpen, the only other "need" the Reds would have would be left or right field depending on whether or not Griffey or Dunn gets traded. Hopper can take one of those spots and Votto would get a chance to play first next year with either Conine or Hatteburg gone.

so you would trade off a .274 batting avg and a .947 fielding pct? Edwin has to stay. A trade for Dunn for good pitching would help, with moving Hopper to left, Hamilton center and Griffey in right.

Good luck with getting anything better than a couple of low minor league guys for Dunn. Since a trade voids his team option for next year the Reds aren't going to get fair market value for him since the team that trades for him will only be getting a rent a player for 1/3 of a season.

I really don't see any big trades or personnel moves at all this season. Management is in complete denial when it comes to the talent on this team. They believe the mgr and coaching staff is adequate. The owner believes the GM has a successful plan. And they all think that somehow this thing is going to get turned around. They really don't have a clue. There is only one way to open Bannana Bobs eyes and that for the fans to stay away in droves. Your Cincinnati Reds like em or not.

Just three-four weeks ago Krivsky said on Reds Live...that Homer Bailey wasn't ready when asked point blank in an interview...although now, Bailey is 2-0 and was gassing a 95 MPH fastball passed Eric Chavez in the 7th inning vs. the A's...oh yeah....we jerk him to save his arm and watch Coffey give up a bolt...thank goodness we had an extra run or two:rolleyes:

How does Bailey go from NOT ready to ready in a matter of days?

Narron's stale look and demeanor is aggravating...he can't even argue a good game...Reds need a brawl...eventhough Narron would probably high-tail it into the dugout
