With that being said, as I've said previously, I see UofL winning, but in a much closer game than the UofL faithful are thinking. FYI, this is what I was talking about... June 19, 200719 yr The swing games are South Carolina and Vanderbilt (though I think Vandy is a lean towards UK at this point). I do not think UK wins at Arkansas. I KNOW they're not going to beat UGA at UGA, especially considering they won't overlook UK at all after last year. UT is a possible, but a doubtful, same with UF. I think they win the 3 OOC that aren't Louisville and beat MSU. Which leaves those aforementioned swing games. IMO, UK goes 5-7.

June 19, 200719 yr Imo U.K's offense will do o.k. vs. the Cards but I can't see the Cats "matador D" containing their "O" enough to pull the upset. If UL plays like they did in the spring game UK will be in it all the way!

June 19, 200719 yr UK's success against Louisville and the SEC depends on: 1) Will the boys up front will be able to keep Woodson off his back and give the trio of scatbacks open lanes 2) The defense not giving up 7 or 8 minute drives and being gassed in the 4th quarter of games.

Seriously though, unlike Petrino, Kragthorpe opperated the Spring game like a practice. It was not meant to simulate a real game.

It was not meant to simulate a real game. I did not make UK's game due to Thunder Over Louisville, but I did catch UL's game and I stand by my statement. They were not sharp at all to be kind.

And it's difficult for the offense to look sharp when the defense knows that 2/3rds of the plays are going to be pass plays; the defense didn't play honest all night. If you took it as a representation of what Louisville is going to look like in the fall, I expect you'll be disappointed.

I look for this game to be no prettier than the last one for UK.

June 19, 200719 yr I don't think it will be quite the barrage that opened the game last year. UK is going to score early. It'll be later in the game that Louisville pulls away with their depth.
