Chuck Nevitt. That guy has more championship rings for someone who has never played in a championship game.

If Kobe did come to the East, it would definitely make the East very fun to watch with three great superstars in it, with Kobe, Wade, and Lebron...

I don't know if I'd jump all the way to calling it "very fun to watch" but it will be better, no doubt.

Buss should buy Kobe a diamond ring. It worked on Vanessa.
Big difference. Jerry Buss is not cheating on Kobe with another team. :D

Kobe goes to Washington, Boston, Knicks. or Bulls. lol

Starbury would welcome Kobe

Stephon Marbury opened his arms to Kobe Bryant becoming a Knick. It is believed the Lakers would ship Bryant to the Eastern Conference, and the Bulls and Knicks appear to be his preferences. Isiah Thomas said he will keep Eddy Curry out of any offer, but David Lee, Channing Frye and Jamal Crawford would be on the table. -- CNN.com

Kobe-to-Bulls not done deal

For now, the Bulls are working under the assumption the Lakers have no desire to deal their nine-time All-Star guard. That stance is supported by a statement Jerry Buss released two weeks ago. Should Lakers management change its mind and pursue trade options, the Bulls, like any NBA team, would have interest. But depleting the roster of multiple assets like Luol Deng and Ben Gordon to match Bryant's $19.5 million salary likely would give general manager John Paxson pause.

Kobe goes to Web site to reiterate trade demands

Kobe posts on his Web site about rift growing between himself, Lakers

LOS ANGELES -- Kobe Bryant posted a message on his Web page Sunday strongly suggesting the superstar wanted to be traded from the Lakers.

"When you love something as much as I love the Lakers its [sic] hard to even imagine thinking about being elsewhere," he wrote on his Web site, kb24.com. "But, the ONE THING I will never sacrifice when it comes to basketball is WINNING."

The two-time scoring champion also wrote: "The more I thought about the future, the more I became convinced that the Lakers and me just have two different visions for the future."

I think they keep Deng at all cost. Gordon and #9 would get close, but not quite there yet. Add Big Ben and sign the deal...

Not a Kobe fan but Kobe for Wallace, Gordon and #9 and I make the deal. Losing Wallace is the only downside of this trade.

Then maybe Kobe should by Buss one, or set him up in hotel suite in Colorado:sssh: :sssh: :D .

This whole Kobe thing is really sicking to me, the only thing that I can do is joke about it - just another high profile pro athlete that thinks that he is bigger than the coaches, owners, league or anything or anyone else.

Maybe Kobe can be nominated "again" for the espn2's Mike and Mike show .....Just shut up award that is given out weekly.

But at least you'd get to unload Big Ben's contract which he came nowhere close to earning this season.

You can thank Michael Jordan for players like Kobe being able to do this kind of thing....

Thing is oldrambler, David Stern has developed the NBA to have the superstar athlete bigger than the "coaches, owners, league, or anyone else." In other words, when Kobe "thinks he is bigger" than the aforementioned, he is actually right on many levels.

:thumb: Maybe so, and there is the problem that I have with the NBA. ;) I know that this kind of attitude is present in all pro sports but it seems more so in the NBA. That is why I watch very little of it (NBA). Just a shame that T.O. is not on the NBA, that is a match made in :sssh: ................well, I guess that is for each person to decide depending on their views. :D
