June 16, 200719 yr Kobe in the East would be the best possible thing for the NBA since Jordan. They are already screwed with Oden and Durant going to the West coast.
June 16, 200719 yr Kobe in the East would be the best possible thing for the NBA since Jordan. They are already screwed with Oden and Durant going to the West coast. In fact, the vitality of the NBA may rest on Kobe's shoulders this summer...
June 17, 200719 yr I'm a Kobe fan, but what team will take him, that can pay him and keep everyone in the team happy. I'm guessing instead of Kevin or Jermaine going to Kobe, maybe Kobe will go to them. Just a thought but Kobe and Kevin will make a nice team eventhough going to Jermaine means having a better chance to make it to the finals since most powerhouse teams now are in the West. If he does come to the East then a new rivalry will develope, James and Bryant, this makes Christmas and Thanksgiving just a little better.
June 17, 200719 yr I think Kobe to Chicago will help both teams. Bulls have a lot of young talent and the Lakers would at least get 3 players out of the deal.
June 17, 200719 yr I would hate to trade any of the starters (young, good and play team ball) for the Bull but for Kobe maybe... if could keep Gordon, Wallace and Hinrich. Thomas is one I'd hate to give up but I'd take my chances with Kobe. Add Kobe to the Bulls and that match up could be dangerous a team in either conference......loveing the thought that the Bulls would be back in the mix.
June 17, 200719 yr The World Wide Leader hinting that Kobe could be in Chicago before the draft. Too good to be true IMO...
June 17, 200719 yr Knicks and Bulls are 2 of 3 teams he would wave his no trade clause for. I heard that Kobe is the only player in the NBA with a no trade clause. I didn't know that. Depending on what the Bulls would give to get Kobe they could be really really good next year. I wouldn't have to have the Kobe avatar with the Jordan Jersey on anymore.
June 17, 200719 yr At this point you have to at least start to picture him in Chicago. Wow. That's all I've got...
June 17, 200719 yr I think a lot of Bulls fans would reject Kobe in Chicago though. I highly doubt that. They cheered Jordan despite a LOT of flaws. Kobe delivers a title in the 2nd City and he's King...
