We're getting some of the first rain in weeks here in G-town today. Hopefully it rains all night and gets this nasty high-pressure system out of the area; the same system that has had my head stopped up for weeks, to the point where it backed up into my right ear for about a week, then switched to my left ear. Very annoying.

I thought it was a tad ironic that the rain started here in Maysville yesterday. Right around the time the Reds blew that big lead. A tad ironic. lol

I really hope we get a strong steady rain. My uncle is in the grass cutting business and he has been coming on bad times with the rediculous lack of rain.

It's starting to come down good now in NKY. It looked like it was going to all day but it backed off but i think its here to stay now.

It started pouring earlier when I was at work in Cincinnati, and it came down so fast and hard that the pipes that ran under the warehouse floor couldn't hold all the water and it started flowing up the pipes and onto the floor. At first I had no idea what was going on and I pretty much thought I was going to die...

I happened to be over in Cincy playing golf earlier and the rain came down in the middle of our round so we went in and waited it out. Before the rain I was playing good, but after the delay I felt like I forgot how to play the dang game cuz I sucked after that.:fight:

I for one am glad to see the rain.

 

Talked to my parents in St. Augustine yesterday. St. Augustine, like much of Florida, has been experiencing drought conditions. They had just over an inch of rain during the whole month of May. We had a quarter inch of rain in May here in Maysville.

 

Not to mention the fact that I just had a new roof put on the house and I'd love to see if it works...
