June 5, 200719 yr I for one am glad to see the rain. Talked to my parents in St. Augustine yesterday. St. Augustine, like much of Florida, has been experiencing drought conditions. They had just over an inch of rain during the whole month of May. We had a quarter inch of rain in May here in Maysville. Not to mention the fact that I just had a new roof put on the house and I'd love to see if it works... And what if there is a leak? Do we need to start a collection of buckets from people here on the board?? :scared: :lol:

I think I jinxed it for our area. We had one nice rainshower for about 15 minutes or so, then nothing but teasing dark clouds since. Talked to the parents earlier, and they said it absolutely poured on them; meaning it shot right over the top of us.
June 5, 200719 yr We got 2 nice showers yesterday and another small one this afternoon, and like so many other places was much needed. Prof. after being up there last Friday I know you really could use the rain, especially on that gravel road.... mcpapa hope you got that rain....if your house leaks I have a real cute Cards umbrella I will loan you....:lol:
June 5, 200719 yr I've always said if you need it to rain, just schedule some high school football games and it is almost guaranteed to rain 75% of the time...
