RockPride Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 This girl has so much fire...she really is the total package.....She is a breath of fresh air, with the constant negativity in today's media.....I wish there were more people like her, on the air.
Habib Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 You know, I was considering a similar thread, but I have a different view of her. Now, I don't watch the View, so the only time I ever hear her talk is when there is a "Rosie said this about this" thread, so maybe it needs to be taken with a grain of salt. But, she doesn't come across as being particularly intelligent, and seems to more often than not regurgitate cliche conservative talking points with relatively little critical analysis. When Rosie says some absurd, blog inspired drivel, Hasselbeck's retorts are fairly predictable. I would say our posters in P&R could hold Rosie's feet to the fire better than Hasselbeck does.
RockPride Posted May 25, 2007 Author Posted May 25, 2007 I went to youtube and watched a bunch of clips...she seems to have a great head on her shoulders...the problem I have with Rosie and Joy attacking, is that they like to make their points by raising their voices, instead of validating real points..
Ram Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Elizabeth Hasselbeck is a new hero of mine. Look for her to get a lot of press in the near future. I am glad she stood up to ultra-liberal O'Donnell. I do not watch the view but do see clips that make the news, and have been impressed with Hasselbeck's ability to share a more conservative "view". Maybe there is hope for network TV yet, unless she gets fired for be conservative.

In other words........................she has sense.

Liberals do not like anyone to counter them with any opposing views. They own the mainstream media and Hollywierd and expect everyone to agree with them and do and think in their way of thinking. So lets see.................She has some different views on things, she carries herself with class and she is a Christian. Hmmmmm, yep, she may be fired for that triple threat.

Fox would hire her in a NY second. Dang Republicans supposedly are all the rich folks. Looks based on the Elizabeth Rosie comparison, they have the pretty gals too!
Kingfish Stevens Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 It is easy for conservative Republicans to have second thoughts about their allegiences particularly in light of the present group of spineless leaders in the party. However, comparing Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Rosy O'Donnell gives one a new sense that he is still on the right path. While you can compare appearance (that incorporates much more than mere physical beauty), the stark contrasts in lifestyle, attitude, and respect for others make such a comparison ridiculous. O'Donnell is, at her very best, a parasite on the principles of a civilized society. Maybe she can be exiled to Devil's Island where the wildlife could enjoy her presence.
Ram-T Cat Fan77 Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 I agree that Elizabeth rarely brings anything new to the table. It's always the same replies. Plus, I find it hard to stomach when people still try to portray Bush as a good president simply for the fact that he is Republican. He's not. You can stand your ground politically, but it's just rubbish to still try and defend his actions.
halfback20 Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Maybe there is hope for network TV yet, unless she gets fired for be conservative. Yeah, because that happens so often.

ladiesbballcoach Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Let's not forget her Ky connection.....Roger Bingham. She was my daughter's favorite on Survivor that season and through Roger sent my daughter a really nice letter. She is tops in my book.
