So basically if you are the starting QB of a nationally ranked team you can make this list? Or if you throw it 75 times a game?

As a Sophomore John Parker set several passing records.

Played on a bad team with no OL help.

There were records he broke that some famous Bama QBs had.

A lot of people use their names like he does...what does that have to do with what he does on the field?

Two of my sons use two names.

He was a Sophomore. How many records did Brian break as a sophomore with a bad Ol and team?

Great leader from the famous Hoover team. A great leader for the Bama team.

Should have been ranked in the top three. I was surprised at 7.

Research before you post, it makes you look a little...well you get it.

I'm surprised Woodson didn't make this list. Brohm and Brennan are the no brainers for the #1 and #2 spots. I would say that Pat White from WVU would be higher!

I saw another list possibly on Foxsports or CNN/SI that listed the following:

Top 10 players:

1. Brian Brohm

7. Andre Woodson

*said that the top 2 QBs in next yrs draft could be from KY

also listed:

top WRs

3 or 4 - Keenan Burton

top TED

4. Jacob Tamme

There was a lot of love for UK & UofL, I wish i had saved the article now.

NO WAY JP Wilson is top 3 QB next year...I say he got a bery solid spot at 7, whick IMHO is a little overated...

He is nowhere near as close to as good as you ae painting him to be.

Congrats to Brohm for being placed at #1 on the list. Also, I do believe that J.P. Wilson (Bama) belongs on the list, Woodson also belongs imo but we have to consider the U.K. team has not done much to get a lot of notice. U.K. had a decent year last season and look to be on the rise (hopefully anyway)

Whew. Glad you cleared that up...

 :thumb:

Am I the only one that is glad Woodson ISN'T on the list? Less pressure. If he comes out and throws for 350+ yards, 3 TD's, and WINS, great! The lists can only hurt. Now the Alabama fans are gonna see J.P Wilson at #7 and expect great things, not just wins anymore. It may be a subconscius feeling but it will be there

Except UK fans have already decided Woodson is top 10 QB, best in the SEC. The expectations are already there. Being on this list or not being on this list won't change that.

UK fans this, UK fans that, is that all you think about is how to downgrade UK fans...

Congrats to Brohm and I hope he stays The Top QB 07/08.

This is a list that does not mean anything until the season has started.:thumb:

i certainly feel that Woodson should be on the list...and I question the inclusion of JPW and Stafford.

^^^....What?

In all honesty, Woodson should be on the list, and Be atleast top 7.
