For that reason, I only pay through Paypal. That way you do have some insurance on your transaction.

Bought several things only one semi-bad transaction. Bought a vacation condo in Williamsburg Va. a full week stay at a plush Fairfield resort for $435.00 our best purchase ever.

I use to buy all the time on ebay. Now I just buy a few things. I have good luck buying good tickets to different sporting events.

You're right about that. I needed a car part that I couldn't find used anywhere locally. I found it on ebay at a good price.

One thing I learned was not to purchase from anybody who would only accept money orders. I'm also very careful about buying from new sellers. The one I'm very, very careful about is buying high-ticket or popular items. I always check the feedback to see if this person has ever sold these items before. Another clue will be if a seller suddenly has lots of high price items suddenly for sale. These are usually highjacked accounts. And NEVER buy from someone who posts their email address in the ad. That's a dead giveaway of a scam.
