fieldhousekrayzie21
Rumor on Cold Pizza says that the sock that he wore in the 2004 World series was paint, not blood. I know that this isn't a big deal, but its fun to talk about!
HOMELESS CAMEL
No matter what it was or wasn't, that is a moment in sports I will never forget. Being down 3-0 and going against one of the greatest closers of all time and get to him on back to back nights. Just unbelievable.

STRIKE3
Must be a slow sports day, for Cold Pizza.....Next, they will be re-examining, the glove Kato 'may" have saw....
NEERFAN
This would be much bigger news 3 years ago, I could care less now. Johnny Bench just reported it was Krylon's "chili pepper red" used in the sock.
mcpapa
I enjoyed the outcome in '04; but let's face it - Schilling has to love seeing himself in the news...
HOMELESS CAMEL
Gary Thorne said on last nights broadcast of the Baltimore/Boston game that it was red paint. He said that Varitek told him it was fake, Varitek is denying he ever talked to Thorne. Just ridiculous, outside the lines with Bob Ley also covered it today. Pat Dad
Must be a slow sports day, for Cold Pizza.....Next, they will be re-examining, the glove Kato 'may" have saw.... And on Mike and Mike. That's, basically all they talked about. All this was started when Gary Thorne stated during the broadcast last night, out of nowhere, that the bloody sock Shilling wore was paint. And that Doug Mirabelli told him. And that it was for "PR". Really, who cares. Then there is those that like the conspiracy theories. :sssh: Bloody Sock

But you are right, he is denying it. They say it was a misunderstanding.
