April 22, 200719 yr It's just a fact that Spring Football isn't very high on the agenda in Lexington. Like someone said, 33K were at Keeneland today. UK packing in 57K a game compared to UL's 40K regardless of stadium size says something. U of L can't fit anymore...yet.

In October 2006, an official rendering and details were released of what an expanded stadium would look like and cost. The plan called for an additional 21,600 seats and 70 suites added via a new upper deck on the side opposite the main press box area, all for a price tag of $63 million, which is almost identical to the cost to build the original stadium. The new capacity of 63,600 would be much closer to the 67,530 at rival Kentucky Much closer but they'd still be little brother......as far as potential attendance numbers. lol

April 22, 200719 yr For all of you UoL fans. What is there to gain by ripping on UK? If the Cards beat them down again, they did what was expected. If UK plays them close or wins, it will be Black Saturday for you guys. ALSO, I doubt UoL will put 63,000 in the stands more than 2 times a season. WV, and UK every other year will probably pack the expanded stadium.
