UK Blue/White Spring Game recap

Featured Replies

Look, I am not saying UK will win, but just imagine the hole you will be buried in IF it did happen.

I look for UoL to win the game, but the POTENTIAL hole is being dug deep by the constant put downs of UK.

I never understood why fans say "team X sucks" or similar comments.

5K?? weak....

UC had 5k and the Reds sold out last night...

Last year's home games:

Texas State - 57,136

Ole Miss - 60,338

Central Michigan - 54,566

USC - 61,449

Georgia - 62,120

Vanderbilt - 52,235

Louisiana-Monroe - 53,463

---------------------------------------------------------------

Avg: 57,329 (hardly 70K strong)

Louisville sells out their's....smaller or not...that says something.

According to the box scores U of L has only reached capacity in 5 of their last 12 home games, the only one of those in which they did reach capacity that did not feature UK, a ranked team or the season opener was Pittsburgh.

No I get it... Brohm threw 4 picks but looked GREAT.

I was there , Brohm looked terrible and overall the offense looked out of wack all night and the play calling was really bad. UK fans should start to be very excited about the chances to beat the cards this year.

Only 70k strong during the real season. I know 33k were at the race track yesterday.

Very understandable considering Thunder and Keeneland.

And UC is on the way up....

Brohm looked average....but still threw for 3 touches and 300+.....the play calling was supposed to be average and mundane...Coach K said he wasn't going to show his full deck....obviously you missed that point.,

I don't doubt that Kragthorpe held back.

I'm not sure I would have done the same. The best way to really test the defense would be to throw an offensive gameplan designed to exploit every weakness. I would think Coach K would have learned more about his defensive weaknesses (and as a result, be able to improve upon them) had he let the offense go all out.

^ He had 3 scrimmages...and he has said that he evaluates all three equally....it just happens that the one that we as fans like the most...was the one that he passed a ton.

I might have missed the point but I did not miss the dropped balls, over and under thrown passes, missed tackles, poor play by the OL, no running, overall a very lack luster performance.Petrino would not accept the way they played, they might still be out there if he were the coach.

You used attendance numbers for UK's games, not tickets sold. If you're going to do that for one team do it for both.

 You have said you are a fan of both.....but your posts speak otherwise....I have been around football all of my life...and the biggest thing that I noticed were about 5 mis-fired balls from Brian (which is extremely rare) so no need for worry there...and weak OL play on the side where Benson has been....being that he is the guy that makes the calls to Breno, that's no surprise whatsoever....it's a spring game....they will take a lot of it to work on things in the fall...when even more weapons become available...I hope that you get all giddy about UK taking it to UL this year...you should

That's cool....but even in that regard.....take the % filled then....:sssh:

I am a fan of both but not when they play each other (UK) unless a close relative was playing for the Cards which was 2002-2005. You have to admit they did not look like this in the last few spring games.
