April 17, 200719 yr I don't know anyone that thinks Pettigrew can play the two at a school of Kentucky's level. Bottom line ... he's a power forward, maybe a small forward in the right situation. If Pettigrew can play the three, he can play at a major school. Otherwise, he's a mid-major power forward ... and a potentially pretty good one. At 6'5" he is hardly a 4.
April 17, 200719 yr At 6'5" he is hardly a 4. Chuck Hayes plays 22 minutes a night in the NBA as a 6'6" power forward. Pettigrew will struggle if he is asked to play the 3, IMHO. He is going to UK if Billy G. wants him, otherwise I think he'll end up at XU or WKU and will be a solid contributor at either spot.
April 17, 200719 yr Tubby's cats went 10 straight years and that got him ran out of town by the UK fans. Different expectations than that at UK. And a player that might fit well at X doesn't mean that they fit well at UK. What does any of that have to do with what I posted? I was referring to a previous poster commenting that XU isn't a "big time" program.

My response was something like "what makes LSU better than Xavier?" Other than the final four trip, Xavier's program has been just as successful (or more so) than LSU's, and the same goes for other "power conference" teams.
