BigBlueFreak Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 For those that have an ATV, what kind do you have. If you don't have one and are planning to buy one sometime what kind might you look at. Me and my wife have a Suzuki 400 Eiger 4x4 manual shift. I tested one of the automatics out but I just liked the freedom of picking what gear I want. It's got a switch you can take it in and out of 4 wheel drive(makes it easier for her to drive). It's bright yellow but currently has the mossy oak camo cover on it for turkey season. :thumb: We just recently got a winch for the front of it and next are planning on getting new tires. I've looked into the ITP Mudlite tires, any other suggestions?
BigBlueFreak Posted April 15, 2007 Author Posted April 15, 2007 A 6 wheeler Polaris Explorer. My friend had one of those, it was great. I loved it, thing would go anywhere.
PutMeInCoach Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Yes its amazing. It's like driving a truck, and crushes everything.
SomersetFootball Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 I have a 2002 Honda 400ex. A complete aftermarket FMF exhaust, Maxxis Razr II wheels with ITP rims. A jet kit and nerf bars. Its really fun to drive because it goes fast and I can take it anywhere. Well lets rephrase that, try and take it anywhere. Lol

woodsrider Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 For hunting I would like to have a Bad Boy Buggie but just can't justify the money for one. Now if the golf coarses would let me us when I play that would be different story.
cvillecat Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 I have the same 1955 model two legged ATV that I started hunting with. It has a few scratches and doesn't run as fast as it used to. It is still whisper quiet and after a few hours in the woods makes it's own gas. I have been looking at the Yamaha Grizzley and several of the Polaris models.

leatherneck Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 I have something called a Big Foot which is manufactured by a Canadian company named Argo. Not your typical ATV. Its got six wheels and is skid steered like a bull dozer. Pretty neat vehicle. It floats and can traverse lakes and swamps.
