He will IMO violate one of these rules if he cant even turn on his blinker or put on a seatbelt.

Another good decision by the commish. Just a gut feeling but I have the feeling this will be the last we see of Henry in a Bengal uniform--no way he doesn't get in trouble again before the end of his suspension.

I don't think they killed anyone.

Not yet, but the way things were going it wouldn't have been long.

This will not be the only Bengal affected by the new policy...JMO

-- He must have no further adverse involvement with law enforcement.

-- He must fully cooperate with all required counseling, education, and treatment assigned to him under league programs.-- He is eligible to be at the Bengals’ facilities during the rest of the offseason for customary activities and he must meet weekly with the team’s player development director.

-- If he fully complies with all other conditions, he may participate in the Bengals’ training camp and preseason games.

-- During the regular season, he is permitted to be at the Bengals’ facility for team meetings and must meet weekly with the team’s player development director, but he may not attend or participate in practice.

-- He must fully comply with all conditions imposed on him by any court, including requirements of community service.

To me the counseling will be the key for his ability to move forward in a positive manner. As a Bengal fan I hope this works out. If Henry can follow the guidelines that have been set, maybe others will follow and all of this garbage will stop.

Wow this could be a potential huge blow for the Bengals.

I don't think half the season is right though. First 4 games and all of the above stipulations would make more sense.

As much trouble he has been into, I think he is lucky he was not supended more. This is punishment for the other things that was not decided before the end of the season and not just the traffic incident.

Good point. I guess this is the only way he'll learn. If he has any true love for the game, he'll keep his nose clean....

Are the Bengals allowed to put him on house arrest? ;)

I give him two months before he violates the terms.

Pacman just got suspended the entire season.. So the argument is a little weak. :p

Not weak at all. I mean Pacman has had 10 incidents off the field, and I know Henry has had his fair share but it hasn't been 10. Yet Pacman unlike Henry didn't have to deal with any other suspensions. Henry has already had to sit out 4 games now with suspensions for what he did, and those suspensions affected games in two seasons. Now he has to sit out a whole half of the season, which will greatly affect another season. While Pacman who has had more incidents really only gets to mess up one season for the Titans, and also Pacmans stuff keeps happening more recently. Henry has shown that he actually has started to get better it seems like and grow up a little.. So considering Henry has already got some suspensions, and Pacman got none till now, Henry shouldn't have still got a half of a season. It should have only been around 4 games and at most 6. So yeah I dont believe my argument is weak at all, when it comes to this...

Those are moot points considering he shouldn't have been driving. His license is still suspended, and maybe even for a longer period now.

Again, good for Roger Goodell, he is doing a good job as far as I'm concerned.

Very good points there.

I think it all comes down to the commish trying to prove a point. Just saw on NFL live an interview w/ Chad Johnson and apparently Chad thinks it's ridiculous so it's got to be. ;)

While I personally think Henry should be suspended for his recent incident, I don't think it should be half a season.

As I said in the Pac Man thread, Jones and Henry should be out of football/NFL for good............................Period! How many chances does a guy get, imo thye both are way over the limit.

JMO but I think that the Bengals and Titans respectivelu should cut both of them loose and make a statement that this crap will no longer be tolerated.
