Track The Reds...

He has a decent slider but I don't think he can use it on command...it's sort of hit and miss...not much good for an out pitch.

His first 7 appearances this year, he only gave up one run.

2 of his last 3 appearances, he has given up 7 runs.

It was said on the radio and probably TV, would be nice if he had an "out" pitch with 2 strikes.

They've tried to teach him a splitter, couldn't do it. He can't blow people away, and he has no out pitch. So what does that make him other than very hittable. I'd give him a bit of a break if he could locate his FB, but have you ever seen him hit a single target, twice in the same AB? Me either.

Narron should have turned Berkman around and brought the lefty in...oh well.

Narron is worthless. Quite possibly three of the losses can be tied directly to some very questionable and dumb decisions by this buffoon.

Tonight's line-up:

Freel cf

Dunn lf

Phillips 2b

Hamilton rf

Encarnacion 3b

Hatteberg 1b

Gonzalez ss

Ross c

Arroyo p

Apparently Griffey is "sick".

I wish they had never brought Griffey and his "sicknesses" to Cincy. I would have rather paid for some quality arms.

It's easy to say that now, but at the time it looked like an absolutely great deal.

Yep, Reds had just come off that tough wild card play in game loss to the Mets. They get Griffey, who at that time hadn't missed hardly any games due to injury and everything seemed to be going in the right direction.

Course, no need to recap the last 7 years since that trade. lol

Good to see Hobbs still in the lineup and now we can just hope that Ross actually makes contact and hits the ball somewhere, ANYWHERE.

I agree but now when you think of the talent that the Reds gave up in that deal it doesn't seem as good. You are right though....at the time I think just about anyone would have jumped on it.

When I think of the players that the Reds have let get away through the years- Wow!! Hopefully with this new management those days will be over.

I also think that Narron and his decisions/non decisions cost us 2 games in Arizona, but that is jmo.

Oh how I long for the days of "The Main Spark"/ "Captain Hook" . Sparky Anderson was the best.

You and me both.

My goodness Brandon has come alive after the slow start, goodness.

Hobbs does it AGAIN.

I said before the season that Jerry Barren-headed Narron will cost you 8 games a year just by himself. This year, it looks like a good bet to take the over on that number.

Can't complain about this nice start. Hope Bronson can go all nine.

The way the bullpen has been pitching, that might be the best option to getting a win.

Since they locked up Freel with an extension, they now need to lock up Brandon.
