June 2, 200719 yr BTW, Rheal Cormier announced his retirement from MLB as a member of the AAA Richmond Braves. Did anyone else catch the part of the broadcast about former Card/Met, Bernard Gilkey? He apparently had an annuity in his contract and he will be receiving 1mil for the next 25 years....unreal.

June 2, 200719 yr Very nice win by the Reds, maybe building some confidence after a forgettable month of May. As I said before, if they can get within 5 games of the division lead at the All Star break, things will be A LOT of fun with the savior being called up and the trade deadline looming. Hopefully they can put together a great month of June.
